PV Sindhu speaks to the media after her second-round win at the BWF World Championships

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu spoke to the media after securing a second-round win at the BWF World Championships, highlighting the need to stay prepared for long and demanding matches.
Sindhu said she and her opponent are familiar with each other’s style of play, making preparation and endurance crucial in the contest.

“I think we know each other's game. It's just that I need to be prepared for long matches.”
The two-time Olympic medallist acknowledged that matches against top-ranked players are unlikely to offer easy points and require players to be ready for every situation.

“It's not going to be easy, and you can't expect easy points because when you're playing against a top-ranked player, you need to be prepared for everything and anything.”

Sindhu’s comments underline the physical and mental demands of competing at the highest level, as she looks to continue her campaign at the BWF World Championships.
