West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari Reiterates ‘Not I, But We’ Principle, Emphasizes Collective Leadership

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has reaffirmed his commitment to the principle of collective leadership, emphasizing that teamwork and unity remain central to the BJP's governance and organizational philosophy.

Addressing party workers and supporters, Adhikari recalled the day he was elected leader of the BJP legislative party in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi. Reflecting on that moment, he said that he had pledged to follow the guiding principle of “Not I, but We.”

"I would like to say one thing. The BJP's collective leadership, the day MLAs elected me as the leader of our legislative party, I had said that our guiding principle should be 'Not I, but We.' I follow that principle and continue to make every effort to abide by it," Adhikari stated.

The Chief Minister stressed that effective leadership is built on cooperation, shared responsibility, and collective decision-making. He noted that the BJP's strength lies in its cadre-based structure and the contributions of every member working toward common goals.

Adhikari's remarks highlighted the importance of unity and teamwork in governance, while reaffirming his commitment to serving the people of West Bengal through a collaborative and inclusive approach.
