West Bengal Raksha Bandhan Celebrations Held Across 4,000 Locations

West Bengal Raksha Bandhan celebrations are being organised across the state, with government-backed programmes taking place at around 4,000 locations to mark the festival of brotherhood, affection and social harmony.

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said the celebrations have been launched at thousands of locations across the state. He also highlighted the programme held at Ambedkar Colony, which falls under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation and is located within his constituency.

Raksha Bandhan is being observed across West Bengal with a series of public programmes involving local communities and government-supported initiatives.

Speaking about the celebrations, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said that events have been organised at approximately 4,000 locations across the state.

Adhikari said the area falls under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation and is also part of his constituency. The celebration there formed part of the wider programme being organised across the state.
