Gaurav Bhatia Slams Rahul Gandhi Over Democracy Remarks

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia on Wednesday criticised Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, alleging that he has failed to fulfil his parliamentary responsibilities. Bhatia said that Rahul Gandhi should attend Parliament, participate in debates, and raise public issues instead of avoiding the House.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi's recent public remarks, Bhatia accused him of suffering from what he described as "Modi-phobia" and "RSS-phobia." He alleged that the Congress leader repeatedly targets Prime Minister Narendra Modi because he is unable to establish his own political legacy.

Bhatia further criticised Rahul Gandhi for allegedly making statements about India's democracy on foreign soil, calling such remarks harmful to the country's image. He asserted that describing India's democracy as "dead" while abroad reflects a "poisonous mindset" and undermines the nation's democratic institutions.

The BJP leader maintained that Parliament remains the appropriate forum for raising concerns and debating issues affecting the people, urging the Leader of the Opposition to actively participate in legislative proceedings rather than making allegations outside the House.
