JP Nadda Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Selective Politics on Exam Paper Leaks

Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched a sharp attack on Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi during a parliamentary discussion on examination paper leaks, accusing him of selectively highlighting incidents while ignoring similar cases in states governed by Congress and other opposition parties.

Speaking in Parliament, Nadda listed multiple instances of alleged examination paper leaks across states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Punjab, Kerala and Karnataka. He argued that many of these incidents occurred under Congress or opposition-supported governments.

The minister questioned why Rahul Gandhi had not raised concerns over these cases with the same intensity, asserting that the opposition was attempting to derive political mileage from issues affecting students rather than working towards lasting reforms in the education system.

Nadda said the government's priority is to improve the quality of education, strengthen examination systems and ensure justice for students. He alleged that the opposition's approach was politically motivated and not focused on student welfare.

His remarks came amid an ongoing debate in Parliament over examination irregularities and paper leaks, with the issue continuing to spark political exchanges between the ruling BJP and the opposition.
