Kalyan Banerjee Alleges Rebel TMC MPs Have Shifted Loyalty to BJP Amid Political Row

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyan Banerjee launched a sharp attack on rebel party MPs, alleging that their recent meetings with senior BJP leaders indicate a shift in political allegiance from the TMC to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Speaking on the ongoing rebellion within the party, Banerjee claimed that the rebel MPs had met Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and were also in the company of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. According to him, these developments suggest that the dissident leaders have effectively aligned themselves with the BJP.
"They have changed their leader from Mamata Banerjee to Narendra Modi,"

Banerjee remarked while criticizing the actions of the rebel lawmakers.
The TMC leader further challenged the MPs to face party workers and constituents in their respective constituencies. He asserted that local party supporters and voters would have the final say on their political decisions.
Banerjee also expressed concern over the political climate in West Bengal, alleging that democratic values were being undermined and replaced by autocratic practices.

The remarks come amid growing political tensions and speculation over internal divisions within the Trinamool Congress, with both the ruling party and the opposition closely monitoring the evolving situation.
