PM Modi, Kyrgyz President Review Strategic Partnership

PM Narendra Modi meets Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov for bilateral talks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with President Sadyr Zhaparov of the Kyrgyz Republic, reviewing the full spectrum of India-Kyrgyzstan bilateral relations and reaffirming the close and longstanding ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, both leaders agreed to further strengthen the India-Kyrgyzstan Strategic Partnership, with particular emphasis on expanding bilateral economic and commercial cooperation.

Prime Minister Modi also congratulated President Zhaparov on Kyrgyzstan’s successful chairship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) for the 2025–26 term.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to deepen their strategic relationship and expand cooperation across key areas of mutual interest.
