Nitin Nabin Rallies for ‘Viksit Puducherry’, Targets Congress-DMK at Massive Manavely Meeting

Nitin Nabin, National President of the BJP, addressed a massive public meeting at Thavalakuppam in the Manavely constituency of Puducherry on Sunday, April 5, 2026. The rally marked a key highlight of his two-day election campaign ahead of the Assembly polls scheduled for April 9, 2026. During his address, Nabin laid out the Bharatiya Janata Party’s vision for a “Viksit Puducherry,” emphasizing a development-driven governance model. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “BEST” mantra—focused on Business, Education, Spirituality, and Tourism—as a roadmap for the Union Territory’s future growth. Taking to social media after the rally, Nabin said he addressed a massive gathering in Manavely and noted that the people have not forgotten what he described as corruption and administrative paralysis under the Congress-DMK regime. He asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister N. Rangaswamy, the “double-engine government” has broken the cycle of stagnation, replacing “hollow promises with tangible results.” Reinforcing the BJP’s development narrative, Nabin said that the party is committed to building a progressive and prosperous Puducherry through strong governance and people-centric policies. The rally witnessed significant public participation, reflecting the high political stakes ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
