PM Modi Applauds L&T Hazira, Calls It a Reflection of Self-Reliant India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Larsen & Toubro (L&T) manufacturing facility in Hazira, Gujarat, and praised the company's contribution to India's industrial growth and self-reliance.

Sharing his experience on social media, the Prime Minister said, "Visited the L&T facility in Hazira today. What I witnessed reflects the confidence and capability of a self-reliant India."

During the visit, PM Modi reviewed the advanced manufacturing capabilities at the Hazira complex, one of India's leading engineering and heavy manufacturing hubs.

The facility plays a significant role in producing critical infrastructure, defence equipment, energy solutions, and industrial systems that support India's development goals.

The Prime Minister's visit underscores the government's continued focus on strengthening domestic manufacturing under initiatives such as Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India. Industry experts believe that facilities like L&T Hazira demonstrate India's ability to compete globally in engineering excellence, innovation, and large-scale industrial production.

The visit also highlights Gujarat's growing importance as a manufacturing powerhouse, attracting investments across sectors ranging from defence and infrastructure to renewable energy and advanced engineering.

As India accelerates its journey toward becoming a global manufacturing and economic leader, the Hazira facility stands as a symbol of the nation's confidence, technological capability, and industrial ambition.
