PM Modi Conferred Uzbekistan’s Highest Honour for Strengthening India-Uzbekistan Friendship

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the ‘Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik’ Order by Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in recognition of his contribution to strengthening the friendship and close ties between India and Uzbekistan.

The ‘Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik’ Order is Uzbekistan’s highest honour awarded to foreign leaders. The prestigious accolade recognises PM Modi’s role in further deepening the longstanding relationship between the two countries.

Accepting the honour, Prime Minister Modi dedicated the accolade to the 1.4 billion people of India. He said the recognition is not only a personal honour but also a symbol of the enduring friendship between the Indian and Uzbek civilizations.
