President Murmu Begins Historic Three-Nation Europe Visit

President Droupadi Murmu departs on a historic three-nation state visit to Moldova, North Macedonia, and Romania to strengthen India's diplomatic relations with Europe.

President Droupadi Murmu has embarked on a landmark state visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of North Macedonia, and Romania, marking a significant milestone in India's diplomatic engagement with Europe.

The visit is historic as it marks the first-ever visit by an Indian President to Moldova and North Macedonia, while also being the first presidential visit to Romania in more than three decades.

The three-nation tour underscores India's growing commitment to strengthening political, economic, cultural, and strategic ties with European partners. During the visit,7 President Murmu is expected to hold high-level discussions with the leadership of all three countries to deepen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.

The Ministry of External Affairs said the visit is expected to impart fresh momentum to India's relations with Moldova, North Macedonia, and Romania, opening new avenues for collaboration in trade, investment, education, technology, and people-to-people exchanges.

With this historic diplomatic outreach, India continues to expand its engagement with Europe as part of its broader global partnership strategy.
