LEGO Unveils Giant FIFA World Cup Trophy in New York

Giant LEGO FIFA World Cup Trophy displayed at Rockefeller Plaza in New York ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final.

The LEGO Group, in collaboration with FIFA, has unveiled a spectacular 8.47-metre-tall LEGO FIFA World Cup Trophy at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, celebrating the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final.
Constructed using more than 1.36 million LEGO bricks, the impressive installation took 7,040 hours to complete, making it one of the largest LEGO football-themed creations ever assembled.

The iconic display was officially unveiled by Brazilian football legend Cafu, adding to the excitement ahead of the tournament's grand finale. The installation showcases the creativity of LEGO builders while celebrating the global passion for football as the United States prepares to host the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final.

Speaking at the unveiling, Cafu praised the remarkable creation and the unifying power of football.

“The FIFA World Cup Trophy is one of the most iconic symbols in sport, and seeing it recreated on this scale with LEGO bricks is truly incredible. The craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail are remarkable. Football has always been about bringing people together.
