Rahul Gandhi Targets PM Modi Over Fuel Price Hike, Says “Inflation Man Modi Strikes Again”

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over rising fuel prices, accusing the government of burdening citizens with increasing costs after elections.

Sharing his views on social media, Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Inflation Man Modi strikes again.” He alleged that petrol and diesel prices are being increased gradually in a manner that quietly impacts the public.

The Congress leader claimed he had been warning for months about an “economic storm” approaching and criticized the government’s economic policies. He further alleged that political priorities took precedence during the election period and claimed that fuel prices saw a rise after electoral processes concluded.

Rahul Gandhi also argued that inflation and rising costs continue to affect common citizens, stating that repeated price increases put additional pressure on household budgets and everyday expenses.

The remarks are expected to intensify the political debate over inflation, fuel pricing policies, and the broader economic situation, with the issue likely to remain a major point of contention between the ruling government and opposition parties.
