Sitharaman Highlights India's Financial Inclusion Success
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted India's financial inclusion journey as a cornerstone of the country's social and economic transformation while addressing the Rencontres Économiques d’Aix-en-Provence.

She said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) brought crores of previously unbanked citizens into the formal banking system and expanded access to collateral-free credit backed by sovereign guarantees.
Budget after budget, India has strengthened education and skilling of the youth through greater support for STEM education and future-ready sectors like AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics).
