Swiss Confederation President Guy Parmelin has arrived in New Delhi on a State Visit to India, marking an important engagement aimed at further strengthening relations between India and Switzerland.

President Parmelin was accorded a ceremonial Static Guard upon his arrival and was warmly received at the airport by Minister of State Ajay Tamta.
The visit is expected to provide fresh momentum to the India-Switzerland bilateral partnership and deepen cooperation between the two countries across areas of mutual interest.
The Swiss President’s State Visit underscores the importance both India and Switzerland attach to strengthening their longstanding partnership and expanding bilateral engagement.
