With top spot in the group already secured, USA head coach Mauricio Pochettino rotated his squad heavily, making nine changes from the side that defeated Australia. The fresh faces made an immediate impact as Auston Trusty opened the scoring inside three minutes after converting Sebastian Berhalter's corner.

The Turkish side completed the turnaround in the 33rd minute when Eren Elmali set up Baris Yilmaz, who slotted home to make it 2-1.
USA fought back early in the second half as Berhalter added a superb long-range strike to his earlier assist, bringing the hosts level at 2-2. Pochettino introduced several senior stars, including Christian Pulisic, in search of a winner.
However, Türkiye had the final say. Deep into stoppage time, Kaan Ayhan bundled home the decisive goal in the 98th minute to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory and end their campaign on a positive note.
