In a landmark step for global wildlife preservation, Vantara, the wildlife conservation initiative founded by Anant Ambani, has announced the launch of Vantara University in Jamnagar.
Positioned as the world’s first integrated global university dedicated exclusively to wildlife conservation and veterinary sciences, the institution aims to become a center of excellence for education, research, and hands-on conservation practices.
Backed by the legacy of Reliance Industries, Vantara University will focus on cutting-edge programs in biodiversity conservation, animal health, habitat restoration, and sustainable ecosystems. The initiative is expected to bring together global experts, researchers, and students to tackle pressing challenges in wildlife protection.
The university will also integrate advanced veterinary sciences with real-world conservation efforts, offering a unique interdisciplinary approach to safeguarding endangered species and preserving ecological balance.
With this ambitious project, Vantara strengthens India’s position as a global leader in conservation innovation, while creating new opportunities for education, research, and international collaboration in the field of wildlife sciences.
