Alia Bhatt's 'Alpha' Set to Redefine Action Cinema with a Powerful Female-Led Spy Thriller

The excitement surrounding Alpha continues to grow as the highly anticipated action thriller gears up for its theatrical release on July 3, 2026. Headlined by Alia Bhatt alongside Sharvari, the film marks a historic moment in Indian cinema as the country's first full-scale female-led spy action thriller.

Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Alpha expands the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe, which has already delivered massive hits including Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.

In Alpha, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari step into the spotlight as fearless agents facing a deadly mission. Their biggest challenge comes in the form of a formidable adversary played by Bobby Deol, setting the stage for an intense and action-packed showdown. Veteran actor Anil Kapoor also plays a key role, adding further star power to the film.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, the movie promises adrenaline-fueled action sequences, gripping storytelling, and high-stakes espionage drama. With a screenplay by Soumil Shukla and Shridhar Raghavan, and a story conceived by Uday Chopra, the film aims to push the boundaries of action filmmaking in Bollywood.
