‘I Will Never Bow Down’: Abhishek Banerjee Reacts Strongly to FIR

Trinamool Congress (TMC) National General Secretary and Member of Parliament Abhishek Banerjee has strongly reacted to the FIR filed against him, asserting that no investigative agency or government institution can force him into submission.

Speaking to reporters, Banerjee alleged that multiple agencies and authorities were being used against him, including the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), West Bengal Police, Kolkata Police, and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC).

In a defiant statement, the TMC leader said he would not be intimidated by what he described as coordinated efforts to pressure him politically. Banerjee maintained that increasing the number of agencies involved would not alter his stance or force him to back down.

He further emphasized his resolve, declaring that he would continue to stand by his principles regardless of the challenges posed by investigations or legal actions. The remarks come amid heightened political tensions in West Bengal, where allegations, investigations, and counter-allegations have become a key feature of the state's political landscape.

Banerjee's comments are likely to intensify the ongoing political debate, with the opposition and ruling party continuing to trade accusations over the use of investigative agencies and the conduct of public officials.

The FIR and Banerjee’s response are expected to remain at the center of political discussions in the coming days as developments unfold.
