India’s Shooting Trio Wins Silver in Men’s 10m Air Rifle Team Competition

India continued its impressive start at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, with Rudrankksh Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Mane securing the Silver Medal in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle Team event.

The Indian trio produced a combined qualification score of 1890.1 to finish second on the podium and add another medal to India’s early tally at the Games.

China claimed the Gold Medal with 1899.0 points, setting a new World Record for the team total. South Korea secured Bronze with 1884.2 points after a late challenge.

Silver: India — 1890.1 points
Bronze: South Korea — 1884.2 points

The Silver also marked India’s third medal at the 2026 Asian Games, with all three medals coming from the shooting range.
India had already enjoyed a strong opening day in shooting, with Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod securing Silver in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team event, while Elavenil also added an individual medal.

With another podium finish in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle Team event, India’s shooters have once again made a significant contribution to the country’s medal campaign at Aichi-Nagoya.
