Jaishankar Meets Ukraine FM, Discusses Peace Talks

EAM S Jaishankar meets Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv to discuss peace negotiations and bilateral cooperation.

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv, thanking him and his team for the hospitality extended during his visit.

During the meeting, Jaishankar was briefed on recent developments in the ongoing Ukraine conflict and peace negotiations. He also conveyed the importance of ensuring the safety and security of commercial shipping and seafarers amid the continuing conflict.

The two ministers discussed ways to further strengthen India-Ukraine bilateral relations across several areas, including education, health, agriculture, digital technology, innovation, diplomatic training and development cooperation.

The discussions reflected India’s continued engagement with Ukraine on both bilateral cooperation and issues related to peace and regional stability.
