Kiren Rijiju Calls for NEET Paper Leak Debate in Parliament

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju appealed to Opposition parties to allow discussions in Parliament, stressing that every member has the democratic right to express their views during debates.

Addressing the media, Rijiju said that imposing conditions to prevent discussions indicates a lack of willingness to engage in parliamentary debate. He maintained that the government has never shied away from discussing any issue and remains committed to informing the public about its work through Parliament.

Rijiju urged the Opposition, including the Congress and Samajwadi Party, not to obstruct proceedings by creating hurdles before discussions begin. He said that every political party, whether the Congress or leaders like Akhilesh Yadav, would have a full opportunity to present their views once the debate starts.

Emphasizing the importance of parliamentary rules and democratic functioning, the minister noted that it is inappropriate to prevent discussions and later claim that members were denied the opportunity to speak. He called on all parties to ensure Parliament functions smoothly and constructively in the interest of the nation.
