n a sharply worded address following the reported missile strike near Dimona, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched a strong condemnation of Iran, accusing it of posing a direct threat not only to Israel but to global security and stability.
Speaking from the site of the impact, Netanyahu outlined what he described as a series of escalating actions by Iran over the past 48 hours, characterizing them as acts that endanger civilians, sacred religious sites, and international order.
He alleged that Iranian forces deployed “terror weapons” targeting civilian populations, including children and elderly residents, emphasizing that such attacks violate fundamental humanitarian norms. Netanyahu further claimed the use of cluster munitions, which are widely restricted under international law.
The Israeli Prime Minister also raised alarm over missile strikes directed toward Jerusalem, warning that key religious landmarks—including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Western Wall—were placed at risk. These sites hold immense significance for Christianity, Islam, and Judaism respectively.
Iran has proven again in the last 48 hours that it is the enemy of civilization and a danger to the free world: targeting children, families, and the elderly with terror missiles, threatening Jerusalem’s holy sites, launching long-range missiles, and trying to blackmail the world… pic.twitter.com/pQaUW1oYgx

Expanding the scope of his warning, Netanyahu alleged that Iran had demonstrated long-range strike capability by targeting areas as far as Diego Garcia, signaling a broader threat that could extend across Europe and beyond.
He also accused Iran of attempting to exert global pressure by disrupting maritime security in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, describing it as “oil blackmail” aimed at destabilizing international markets.
Calling on global leadership to respond decisively, Netanyahu urged nations to align with what he described as a broader effort to counter emerging threats. He referenced former U.S. President Donald Trump, highlighting the long-standing strategic partnership between Israel and the United States.
“Israel and the United States are not only defending themselves, but standing on the frontlines for the wider world,” Netanyahu said, urging global leaders to act with urgency in the face of escalating tensions.
