Actor Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja are celebrating the arrival of their second child, a baby boy, born on March 29. A week after delivery, Sonam shared the first glimpse of her newborn on social media, along with a heartfelt note expressing gratitude. The touching post has quickly won hearts online.

On Friday, Sonam took to Instagram to share a series of moments from the hospital. One of the most emotional pictures shows her resting on a hospital bed, gently cradling her newborn close to her chest, with a soft smile and closed eyes. The baby is wrapped in a white cloth, adding to the tender moment. Another image shows Sonam enjoying a meal during her hospital stay.

Along with the photos, Sonam thanked the medical team for their care and support. She wrote, “Grateful beyond words 🤍. Thank you to HN Reliance Hospital for the most incredible experience as we welcomed our second son into the world.” She also expressed special gratitude to her OBGYN, Dr Avaan Dadina, for guiding her through both pregnancies with trust and reassurance.

Praising the hospital staff, Sonam added that their empathy and professionalism made the experience even more meaningful. “Feeling deeply grateful, cared for, and blessed,” she wrote.

The couple also shared that their elder son, Vayu, is excited to welcome his younger brother into the family. Sonam and Anand, who got married in 2018, welcomed their first child, Vayu, in 2022. The actor had announced her second pregnancy in November 2025.
