East Bengal FC President's Cup presentation marked a prestigious moment for the Kolkata-based football club after the team won the recently concluded 135th edition of the Durand Cup. President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu presented the prestigious President's Cup to the Durand Cup champions at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The ceremony recognised East Bengal FC's achievement in one of India's oldest and most prestigious football tournaments. Representatives of the club attended the ceremony and received the honour at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The occasion brought together members of East Bengal FC, senior defence officials and representatives of the Durand Football Tournament Society.

East Bengal FC Receives Prestigious President's Cup
The East Bengal FC President's Cup was presented by President Droupadi Murmu during a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the morning.

East Bengal FC secured the title in the 135th edition of the Durand Cup, earning the opportunity to receive the prestigious President's Cup from the President of India.

The presentation marked an important occasion for the club, its players, officials and supporters.

Club Representatives Attend Rashtrapati Bhavan Ceremony

East Bengal FC was represented at the ceremony by players Prabhsukhan Singh Gill and Anwar Ali.

Club officials Debabrata Sarkar, Saikat Ganguly and Pratim Kumar Saha also attended the event and represented East Bengal FC during the presentation.

Their participation highlighted the collective contribution of the players and club officials to the team's successful Durand Cup campaign.

East Bengal FC emerged as the winners of the recently concluded 135th edition of the Durand Cup.

Several prominent dignitaries associated with India's armed forces and the Durand Football Tournament Society were present at the ceremony.

Among those attending were Chief of Defence Staff General N.S. Raja Subramani, who serves as President of the Durand Football Tournament Society.

Also present were Chief of Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, who serve as Vice Presidents of the Durand Football Tournament Society.

Eastern Command Representative Present
Lt Gen V M Bhuvana Krishnan, GOC-in-C, Eastern Command and Patron of the Durand Cup Organising Committee, was also present on the occasion.

The presence of senior military officials reflected the long-standing association of the armed forces with the Durand Cup and its organising structure.
