Mansukh Mandaviya Promotes Cycling for a Healthier and Greener India

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya participated in the 77th edition of the "Fit India Sundays on Cycle" initiative in New Delhi, encouraging citizens across the country to adopt cycling as a healthy and sustainable lifestyle choice.

Addressing participants during the event, Dr. Mandaviya emphasized that cycling not only improves personal health but also contributes significantly to environmental conservation. He stated that cycling helps keep the planet clean by reducing pollution and serves as an effective solution to the growing challenge of traffic congestion in urban areas.

Highlighting the numerous health benefits associated with regular cycling, the Minister said it enhances cardiovascular fitness, strengthens muscles, improves mental well-being, and promotes an active lifestyle.

Dr. Mandaviya urged people from all walks of life to actively participate in the Fit India movement and make cycling a regular habit. He reiterated the government's commitment to building a healthier and more active nation through mass participation in fitness activities.
