Security Forces Destroy 21 Illegal Bunkers in Manipur, Seize 13 IEDs in Twin Operations

In a major security crackdown in Manipur, forces dismantled a total of 21 illegal bunkers in Ukhrul district. The operation targeted fortified positions believed to be used for unlawful activities. According to officials, 14 bunkers were destroyed in Sikibung village, while another 7 were taken down in Mongkot Chepu during coordinated actions by security personnel. In a separate operation in Tengnoupal district, local police recovered 13 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), further highlighting ongoing security concerns in the region. Authorities stated that such operations will continue as part of efforts to restore stability and ensure public safety across affected areas.
