The couple last worked together nearly eight years ago in Begum Jaan, written by Javed Siddique. While both are keen to reunite professionally, they are currently prioritizing family life. With a young son to care for, they have adopted a balanced approach where one parent travels for work while the other stays back. However, Soni confirmed that they are definitely looking forward to working together again once circumstances allow.

Meanwhile, Juhi Babbar is busy exploring her creative side through two monologues that she has written, directed, and produced herself. Soni, on the other hand, continues to remain active on stage with plays like My Wife’s Eighth Vachan and Ballygunge 1990, both written by Atul Satya Kaushik. He revealed that discussions are already underway for another play, potentially in a different genre. For Soni, the relatability of the story is key. He believes that once a strong script is finalized, launching a new production becomes a natural next step.

On the screen front, Soni has also been making steady progress. He was last seen in the OTT series Sare Jahan Se Accha and has several upcoming projects in the pipeline, including Talaash and Eikhattey. Additionally, he has completed shooting for Vvan, directed by Deepak Mishra, which features Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in prominent roles.

Reflecting on his career choices, Soni emphasized that he does not feel the pressure to constantly chase new projects. Unlike many actors who fear missing out, he finds comfort in theatre. “I don’t get FOMO because rangmanch hai mere paas,” he said, underlining how stage performances keep him creatively fulfilled. He also acknowledged the growing influence of OTT platforms, which provide actors with the flexibility to wait for meaningful roles rather than rushing into projects.

Fans of Soni also saw him briefly return to his popular show Crime Patrol last year, reminding audiences of his strong screen presence. However, it is clear that theatre continues to be his first love.
