Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has congratulated regional airline Fly91 on signing a landmark USD 1 billion MoU with aircraft manufacturer ATR, describing the development as a reflection of the strength and opportunity emerging in India’s aviation ecosystem.

Sharing his remarks on social media, Naidu highlighted the airline’s rapid growth, noting that a regional carrier has placed an order for 40 aircraft within just three years of commencing operations.

The Civil Aviation Minister said the achievement demonstrates the growing opportunities that India’s aviation ecosystem is creating for start-up airlines such as Fly91.
