In a dramatic prime-time address to the nation, President Donald Trump declared a decisive turning point in the conflict with Iran, asserting that the Iranian navy and air force have been effectively neutralized.
Speaking with a tone of ultimate victory, the President detailed a series of high-intensity strikes that he claims have left the Iranian leadership “dead” and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in a state of total collapse.

According to the President, the operation has targeted the core of Iran’s military infrastructure. “Their command and control is being decimated as we speak,” Trump stated, noting that the regime’s ability to project power through drones and missiles—tools frequently used to destabilize the region—has been “dramatically curtailed.”
The President framed the current military action as the culmination of a five-year strategy to reassert American dominance on the world stage.
”Our enemies are losing—and America… is winning, and now, winning bigger than ever before.”
A significant portion of the address was dedicated to the President’s long-standing opposition to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or the Iran nuclear deal, negotiated under the Obama administration. Trump reiterated his vow to never allow a nuclear-armed Iran, citing the regime’s “Death to America” rhetoric as a threat that previous administrations failed to neutralize.
Trump highlighted his past actions, including the 2020 killing of General Qasem Soleimani, as evidence of his willingness to move beyond “just words.”
”I did what no other president was willing to do,” Trump said. “They made mistakes, and I am correcting them.”
The President ended his address on a somber note, acknowledging the human cost of the campaign. He confirmed that 13 American service members have lost their lives during these operations.
”We must honor them by completing the mission for which they gave their lives,” Trump concluded, signaling that while strategic objectives are “nearing completion,” the U.S. military will remain engaged until the threat is fully extinguished.
The address signals a continuation of a firm U.S. stance toward Iran, with a focus on military measures and national security objectives, while underscoring the broader strategic direction of the administration.
